It's Spider-man week over here at Plain Zero. We're so hyped for Spider-man: Homecoming, that we decided to watch what is widely considered to be the of the Spider-man movies, part 2! But a lot of time has passed since this movie was released and superhero films have changed, so will this movie stand the test of time? Only one way to find out!
This week, we watched the movie that helped introduce Ben Stiller to the world: Heavy Weights. Get ready to feel mid-nineties comfy with this movie.
We return back to the world of the Coen Brothers as we discussed a modern western: No Country For Old Men. A tale as old as time, Brand from the Goonies finds drug money that belonged to the voice of Bill Dauterive as he find himself on the run from Dora the Explorer while all the while Two-Face tries to figure out what's happening.
This week's movie was chosen by the latest person to win the Obscure For A Penny Zero twitter contest, @xliserx! She has chosen for us to watch 2007's Stardust, based on Neil Gaiman's book. Will this fantasy film hold up? You'll have to listen to find out!
